We’re at a strange age... that time between education and marriage and between marriage and kids. That time of independence, of career-searching, of soul searching; it’s an exciting time, but it can also be a time void of deep friendships and supportive community. But now, we’re trying to change that.
Colossians 1:3-6 talks about a Grace that is changing the world and causing the gospel to bear fruit--a grace that gives us hope for the future. A grace that builds a sense of community and fosters a deep, holy love for those around us. Cariss, the Greek term for ‘grace’, is cfa’s new young adults’ reality designed to provide a place of common ground for Charlottesville’s young singles and married couples. Our vision is to be a community of friendship, love, and support; of coffee-houses, nights out, and catching late-night shows; of intellectual depth, Scriptural application, and simple every-day conversation. The hope is for Cariss to connect you with others who can live this life with you. We are so excited to get to meet you, build relationships with you and your friends, and engage in a community of grace-filled love!
