darcy becker - children's ministry director

Darcy graduated in 1996 from Grove City College with a BA in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood. She met her husband Chris at college and got married the summer after graduation. They moved to Virginia where Darcy worked as a teacher and co-director in a local pre-school for 2 years. Darcy then worked at a local computer training company as the Assistant Director of Sales and Marketing.

Darcy became a stay at home when her first daughter was born. Chris and Darcy now have two girls: Aleya and Teylan. Chris and Darcy started attending cfa in 2001 and shortly afterwards she began volunteering in the church nursery. She ended up volunteering as the Nursery Director for a total of 4 years.

Darcy is now the Children's Director and loves to see kids discover all that God has for them while having a blast! She accepted Jesus into her heart at age 5 and has a passion for all kids to make a commitment to love Jesus and follow him at an early age.

Darcy is from Buffalo, New York and is still a huge Bills fan... though she is regrettably married to a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. ;-) She loves a good steak and a healthy serving of chocolate. She is rather competitive and will rarely ever loose a game on purpose! She loves being a mom and thinks she is married to the nicest guy she has ever met! Darcy would love to hear from you!
