katie mills - nursery director

Katie Mills is our nursery director at cfa. With the birth of her new baby girl, Ella Grace, in late March 2007, Katie is a quality-certified mom-on-the-job. Katie's concern for safety, cleanliness, and love for the babies in our nursery is a direct reflection of those same concerns she has for her own little one. Originally from Buffalo, New York, Katie graduated from James Madison University with a degree in English and her Master's of Teaching, and moved to Charlottesville to teach English at Nelson County High School and marry Joel Mills, one of cfa's current board members.

Katie loves to wear skirts and her favorite type of dessert icing is cream cheese icing. She admits that driving a car with manual transmission is definitely not her forte. When asked what her super-hero suit would be made out of if she were a super-hero, she answered, "If I answer cashmere, does that disqualify me from super-hero status?" ...We'll have to think about that one, Katie. :) As always, please feel free to send Katie an e-mail if you have any questions or would like more information about our nursery program
