Pastor Pete Hartwig is Senior Pastor of Charlottesville First Assembly. He provides oversight and vision for the church staff and the many CFA ministry team leaders. His pastoral passion is to see that God's word is clearly understood through relevant and engaging preaching and that everyone, who is a part of CFA, walks in the fullness of God's will for every area of life.

Pete and Fran Hartwig married in 1991 and have three children: Peter, Alexandera, and Jacqueline.

Pete and Amy met in College and were both involved in Chi Alpha when they were students. They graduated from a state school in Illinois, then went to work in St. Louis for a year—using their degrees. Pete was a CPA working for KPMG and Amy was a Registered Dietitian working for a local Health Care Clinic.

They left their jobs to receive training to be involved with Chi Alpha full-time. After their training, they came here to UVA! Pete and Amy are passionate about Jesus and helping students to grow deeper in their walk with Him!

Bobby Bransford is Director of The Barnabas Project. This ministry was founded based on the word "Barnabas". The biblical definition for Barnabas is encourager or encouragement.  The Barnabas Team offers support to the sick or homebound, whether it be at home, in the hospital, adult centers or nursing homes, but is not limited to these areas. The team is available as God leads. Bobby is also the minister to The Prime Timers, our senior citizens, Adult Sunday School teacher, and directs services at Mountainside Senior Living Center in Crozet, VA the first Monday night of each month from 7:30 to 8:30 pm. 

Bobby and Joyce Bransford married in 1952 and have 2 children, 4 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren!
